LTB Lasertechnik Berlin Receives Purchase Order for MNL Nitrogen Lasers

BERLIN, Germany, Aug. 31, 2001-LTB Lasertechnik Berlin GmbH, the world's leading supplier of TEA nitrogen lasers, today announces that it has received a significant order from Bruker Daltonics GmbH for the delivery of its MNL 200 nitrogen laser.

The MNL 200 laser will be incorporated into Bruker's autoflex® MALDI-TOF system tailored to high throughput applications like automated SNP genotyping.

The MNL 200 is a TEA nitrogen laser delivering sub-nanosecond pulses with peak powers of 200 kW. Due to its reliability and high lifetime it is ideally suited for industrial applications.
The laser is equipped with an energy monitor for pulse energy adjustment.

The laser's software Winlac is an e-diagnostic and performance monitoring software for remote analysis and support worldwide, thus minimizing equipment downtime and service costs.
