Conference season starts with “Chinese Symposium on LIBS”
As in most sectors, the corona virus has also disorganized the conference and trade fair calendar. After extensive cancellations of the events in the first half of the year, the second half of the year started successfully with the 1st IOMLIBS as online conference.
After the summer break, the annual planner grows again and we start with the CSLIBS (Chinese Symposium on LIBS) on August 28th. Our colleagues from LTB China will attend the online meeting and will be available for questions and discussions.
In September, the 11th International LIBS Conference will take place in Japan. This is also being carried out as a web conference for the first time and we are already looking forward to the numerous presentations on the latest developments in the scientific community. Our colleague Dr. Pfeifer will speak about the combined use of LIBS and RAMAN in the field of forensics.
The annual specialist conference for analytical chemistry and spectroscopy “SciX” in the USA from 11.-16. October has been new organized to an online event.
Taking into account a more stringent protection and hygiene concept, the trade fair for laboratory technology, analytics and biotechnology “Analytica” will continue to be a presence trade fair in Munich from 19.-22. Made up in October. Despite this unusual situation, we will be happy to welcome you at our booth 524 in hall A1 – with the necessary distance, of course. Already purchased tickets remain valid.
