qMNL 1000 – DPSS Laser

The qMNL 1000 is our latest innovation – a compact, reliable, and cost-effective UV laser source, perfectly suitable for bio-reader systems and MALDI MS. With pulse energies of up to 250 µJ and repetition rates up to 1000 Hz, it delivers high performance with a small footprint.
- Wavelength 336 nm or 355nm
- Active Q-switch
- Intergrated controller
- Easy replacement for MNL family
- Application in Bioreaders
- Alternative for nitrogen lasers and flash lamps
Setup
The DPSS laser qMNL 1000 is developed for its long lifetime, minimal energy degradation, and high timing precision. These advantages are the result of unique design features normally not found in this compact laser class:
- Active Q-switch
- Advanced pump design
- Integrated laser controller
The integrated laser controller allows for a wide range of presets and configurations which enables easy adaptation to various applications.
The firmware provides full control over all laser functions and parameters via a PC interface.
All trigger inputs and outputs are managed and monitored by the system’s trigger management unit.
The air-cooled laser operates on a low supply voltage of 24 V DC, ensuring safe and easy integration.
The qMNL 1000 represents the next generation in its class. With its 336 nm wavelength option, it is perfectly matched to the absorption spectrum of commonly used CHCA and CHB matrices – making it an ideal choice for advanced MALDI applications.
Certification is currently in progress.
