This expansion addresses the need for increased capacity due to the positive development of its two subsidiaries, LTB Lasertechnik Berlin GmbH and Lufttechnik Schmei\u00dfer GmbH. The new building, with approximately 1,500 m\u00b2 of floor space, is scheduled for completion in November 2017.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks to the improved resolution of the DEMON series, measurements of isotope shifts for additional elements, such as plutonium, can now be conducted using LIBS. The standard DEMON spectrometer has already successfully determined the isotope shift of uranium using LIBS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fiber-coupled, user-friendly Super DEMON spectrometer has already demonstrated its performance in research &amp; development, production control, and quality assurance.
