The patented optical design of the new <a href=\"\/products\/demon\/\">Super\u00a0DEMON<\/a>\u00a0, featuring a pre-monochromator and an echelle grating, enables a spectral resolution of 200,000 (2 pm @ 400 nm).<br><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>With the improved resolution of the DEMON series, measurements of isotope shifts for additional elements, such as plutonium, can now be performed using LIBS. The standard DEMON spectrometer has already successfully determined the isotope shift of uranium with LIBS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The fiber-coupled, easy-to-use Super DEMON spectrometer has already proven its performance in research &amp; development, production control, and quality assurance.
